As planned, the first draft of my proposed OB event was prepared and sent to the client and to Cloudbass. The event tagged ‘Karis Sportfest’ is an inter-church football tournament. This will be the maiden edition and eight teams from eight Christ embassy churches in the Midlands will be participating. The event is scheduled to take place across 3 weekends in March, starting from the 16th of March 2019.
The match schedule is as follows,
· First round – 8 teams – 16th March 2019
· Semi-Final – 4 teams – 23rd March 2019
· Third-Place – 2 teams – 30th March 2019
· Final – 2 teams – 30th March 2019.
The final and third-place matches will be the main OB, covered by one of Cloudbass OB trucks.
A second visit to the football ground, the forest recreational ground was also carried out, I met with the site manager, discussed the event and obtained the booking form.
The client also appointed the Production Manager for this job, who will be my main contact person during the planning and production phases.
To park the truck on site, the facility manager at the forest ground advised that authorisation must be obtained from the Nottingham council.
